Summer Sonic WOWOW Compilation Broadcast on 25/26 Sept and 22 Oct

WOWOW will be broadcasting the Queen + AL compilation special on 22 October this year. They will also be broadcasting the highlights of the festival on 25 and 26 Sept (QAL will be mostly on 26th, but there maybe teasers of them on the 25th)

The festival highlights are already available, its just their arriving to the venue, the final part of WATC and God Save the Queen. You can find it in vimeo or you can download the whole highlight on JPS, its about 19 gigas.

They were supposed to broadcast the main acts on September 25 and 26, I wonder if they changed their mind...

No, the one on Sept 25th and 26th is a completely different thing from the show broadcast in August. It will usually feature 3 complete songs from the artist, properly edited, and not just a snippet due to the lack of time. (I have the full Summer Sonic compilation broadcasts from September 2012 in MPEG TS from jpopsuki. They are about 45 GB for each day.)

The episode in October will be a 30 minute feature I believe. It may include interviews/BTS and probably a (slightly) different set of songs. Jpopsuki will probably not upload this one, as it features a Western artist only. Hopefully one of the Japanese fans will be able to cap this.

I believe also at the end of the year, there will be another feature on artists using footage from Summer Sonic. But I haven't seen information related to that.

I agree with you: Its highly unlikely that JPS is going to share it... Im asking a japanese friend if she can record it, I will let you know if she can record the broadcast!

Sadly no, I just download it from youtube 275 mb, for some strange reason it was downloaded in 720 instead of 1080.
