Here is the latest update to the Fanthology guide, now including a chapter on The Works. That's another 68 song versions for you to read about and collect.

Please check out my Facebook page for regular updates on the project and additional features: https://www.facebook.com/queenfanthology

As always I need to thank my two proof readers, Soxtalon and Mrs Jam Monkey. I hope you all enjoy reading the guide, and happy collecting!

As far as I know the 12" picture disc of "It's A Hard life" does not contain the extended mix, it only contains the album version.
At least my version does and I have never seen a picture disc copy containing the extended mix.

The regular UK 12" (indeed without a picture sleeve) contains the extended mix.

In Germany two 12" singles were released, both with a picture sleeve. One containing the extended mix, one not containing the extended mix.

Anyone else hear the 'y' sung by Freddie just before the second verse? Sounds like a bad edit.

Thank you so much for your work! I love reading this. Also, minor thing but the film is actually called "The Hotel New Hampshire" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087428/).

JeroenG is correct. The 12" picture disc of Hard Life does NOT contain the ext mix.
You have to buy the picture-sleeve-less black vinyl; 12" for that...
