Dunno why they had to put it out with rubbish colourisation in the first place - do they only realise now how bad it looked?
Perhaps they actually listened to feedback.

why would they remaster it on 4k if they don't plan to release it. i'm sure they will release again montreal, maybe this time with some bonus footage from the other show. i know it's a compilation of both nights like rainbow but we could get some songs from the night that hasn't been used/seen in the film.[/QUOTE]

i know there's gonna be a ton of negative comments if they re release montreal concert but i for one would like that for two reasons:
1. band was on fire that night and we might get some unseen footage from a night not used in the film
2. a/v quality on 2007 blu ray was superb except the colors so the video quality can only be better now with 4k remaster and corrected colors.

I don't think anyone would mind particularly - it's not gonna be like the endless re-releases of Wembley, it's one reissue and it's a huge step up in quality.

I would be very surprised to see that. The unused film rushes were lost. QPL only owns a film of the edit that was made back in the early 80s by Saul Swimmer, that's the reason 2007 version has the same edit and no extra footage. Brian commented on this in the commentary track of the DVD and Soapbox.

They should still re-release it as a Blu-Ray+4CD, with both of the full concerts on CD.
