Did Roger ever watched live Monaco Formula 1 Grand Prix?

Roger was allways in loved with fast cars .

from what i heard for a documentary a while back, pretty sure it was magic years, Roger and one of the guys from status quo went to Monaco for the Grand Prix but missed it due to the fact they were thrown in jail overnight for some reason!
