This is the point, which attracts my attention from time to time.
On one hand, I haven't seen any of his interviews, where he would speak about Freddie after Freddie's death. And he has never appeared in any sort of Queen/Freddie documentaries of post-1991 era.
On the other hand, I read somewhere, that he was beside Freddie's bed in the minutes, when Freddie was passing away in the evening of November 24th. But neither Jim Hutton, nor Peter Freestone mention it in their books...

Classy guy, Dave Clark. A star in his own right of course. Never sold his story about Freddie or tried to make a dime out of him.

Freddie was friends with the current 3rd base coach of the Detroit Tigers, cool................lol.................

(no, I do know who we're talking about here..............but I do think the Tigers guy should have picked 5 for his jersey number......)

So he's the one who sent Cabrerra in the 8th inning of Game 2 against the O's? btw, great idea about the number 5, but that was Hank Greenberg's, and they retired it in '83.

Yeah, that was the guy............tho I'd blame that series result more on the relief pitching (or lack thereof!).......lol

I had a vague idea that that number was retired.........
