We've all been talking about the hidden treasures in the archives, but a forgotten gem is Born To Rock n' Roll, from the musical time, although I don't have it, I've heard a very good live version sung by Freddie, and there is a recorded version according to the shows producer Dave Clark, its a great rocker and would really be fantastic given the Queen touch. What do we think ?

Never heard (about) it. Someone please share this song if possible.

Dave Clark guards his archive more tightly than Mr and Mrs Tight on 'National Be Tight With Your Archives' Day.

Yeah, that Freddie version is awesome. Great singing!

Brian has it in his archive apparently, but it really would be superb Queenified ! A proper rocker !! And the thing is all this big fuss about releasing the Freddie/ Jacko stuff all these years, which is poor, and you have gems like this begging to be worked on ! But please don't let William Orbit near it !!!

Just been listening to the Cliff Richard version on YouTube, I'm guessing the Freddie version has roughly the same backing track, so if you close your eyes you can just imagine Fred belting it out ! The story goes that Dave Clark wanted Freddie to play the lead in Time, but of course this was 1988, and by now he knew he wasn't well, so couldn't commit, but I reckon he would've done it had he been fit, just makes you realise how many great projects we've been cheated of, from his untimely death. But I think the campaign should start here, find this track and get it released, and with luck we might see it in 10 years !

The story goes that the Time Musical started in 1986, by which Freddie was busy with a lot of other stuff, but whatever.
