I think this movie will be in cinemas before the official "Freddie Mercury - The ReTold Story".
Shite? Why is it shite? They're making an effort on making a short movie which features aspects of the life of the singer of our favourite band. How can you say it's shite when they haven't even filmed it yet? From what I see, it looks like it could be a good amateur production. I'm excited to watch it when it's out.

Costa86 the life and times of queen and Freddie mercury in a 30min film? wtf you would not even be able to cover freddies loves in 30minutes never mind a full legacy etc so im criticising the length of the "film" as were still waiting on the Freddie film which will never come out and if it does its only going up to live aid? wtf they should do it right and take it up to his death, as laurel and hardy (brian and roger) said they want it to be ps friendly? wtf its the life and times of one of the wildest icons ever do show the feckin truth after hes deed 23years now people need to get over this, no Freddie no john no queen
What makes you think it is a film about the life and times of Freddie & Queen? You've just totally made that up, it could be about one evening, or even 30 minutes of his life.
It could very well be a load of shite, but at least wait until you see it before just writing it off. You haven't even read a word of the script.

The only films connected with Freddie/Queen that I'm interested in were filmed between 1973 and 1991 by the band themselves. Either live concerts or promo films.
I can understand that many many people are interested in seeing a Freddie bio-pic, but I'd much rather watch/ listen to the real thing.
And surely everything there is to know about the band has appeared in either print or in documentaries etc, so I can't imagine any such films adding anything new, unless they undertake a bit of Hollywood-style fabrication. Not for me but to each their own.
