Sail away sweet sister with Freddie on vocals really would be awesome! What were the other tracks mentioned, can anyone recall?

Sail Away Sweet Sister is a track I always skip. The namby-pamby lyrics coupled with Brian's shaky tenor... weakest track on The Game for sure, IMO.

Weaker than Coming Soon, or Don't Try Suicide?? Er........I think not................its one of my personal favorites from The Game! I think Brian's voice suits the song...........and I rather like the lyrics........I even like the demo version on the 2011 bonus disc.............

[/QUOTE] What does everybody have against Coming Soon? It's a fun track with a really neat guitar solo. And as for Don't Try Suicide, at least the track has some attitude. The bass riff is nice too.

I think if you can have Freddie's voice in your head singing sail away....you realise it would be fecking awesome, and that being the case, why isn't it on QF ?

I'll be the bridge between the both of you and say there isn't a single bad track on The Game. It was the last solid Queen album for a decade.

The lyrics of SASS were too personal to Brian, which is probably why he sang on the track. But it'd be cool to hear Mercury's interpretation.

Who am I kidding - Mercury would sound great singing the phone book.

I think it's safe to say Freddie got laid that night.

Holy flirting. Nice to hear him so happy and giddy.

An amateure video of me having sex with 125 women.
"He knew exactly what was going on. He knew that was his last performance, he could barely stand." Roger Taylor commenting on Freddie's last video appearance.

I don't really dislike either song..............it's just that if I had to pick the weakest tracks on the album, those would be it..........and I would call SASS one of my top 3 tracks.................(along with Save Me and Dragon Attack............hmm.......I really seem to have a thing for Brian's songs!!!...........I'd even say Save Me is kinda underrated..........totally awesome song that shoulda been a massive hit..........love the live versions too..........the 12/8/80 London version is spectacular.........Kerry Ellis does a good version, at that.....)

It would be cool to hear Freddie singing that song.........(too bad they never did it live then, cus that is how they probably would have done it, like how they did '39....)......I think Brian's voice suits the song well, tho.....gives a sort of uh........pained emotional quality to it.........

I always liked Brian's version of TMLWKY more than Queen's for the same kind of reason.........

My thoughts for 2015
- I would imagine there would be a re-release of Rock Montreal since it is being played in 4K in cinemas.
- Q+AL Live Blu-Ray and CD

Why release the exact same DVD for the third time? Surely even QP can't sink that low. At least with Wembley they had different extras each time.

Rock Montreal again?! Probably knowing Queen Productions. Jeez. I'd rather have Queen + Adam Lambert release a live cd/bluray than yet another re re release. At least it's something new. I'm looking forward to hearing Freddie singing SASS though. And I wonder what other tracks Brian and Roger will work on? What did Greg Brookes say at the convention?

I'm not saying it (Rock Montreal) is the most exciting release, but it would make sense. It is not currently on catalogue with Universal Music and it is currently being shown in cinemas in 4k. I would think you'd want a release available for purchase to go along with this?
