How did orbit get his job?

Through trial and perseverance, or nepotism?

That was pretty weird. It even kept going two minutes longer when I felt relieved it was over.

As if to highlight something he'd done with the music. (Just like TMBMTLTT)

that was pretty bad. Thanks for sharing. I don't contribute to itunes. It's basically a host site. I prefer at least a usable mp3/wma/wav/flac file.

William Orbit is 10 years past his prime and 10years since he was fashionable so he's basically cutting edge to Brian and Roger.
bad job. really....

does anyone know how bri and rog crossed paths with Orbit?
At least, Rick Rubin said put ruined, because every remix by a Queen song would be ruined....He was honest!
Instead of buying this, just donate to the charity. That way you're saved this horror on your computer but you still feel good having donated.

As for a remix it's not horrible. Even if the bass line is generic and 91' George Michael sounding "IWYS pt ii"

Still not as bad as that godawful mix of There Must Be More To Life Than This. Managed to kill all the dynamics of two music legends.

I think I'd even prefer listening to QUEEN in 8-bit, rather than Orbit."

Is this a decision from Brian and Roger?

I think they lost control when they signed that Universal contract ! I'm all for keeping Queen's profile high, which seems to be the idea, but you have to do it with quality releases, otherwise they will strangle the golden goose !!

Then please explain the Hollywood Records signing and unquality remixes that resulted from it (along with Greatest sH*ts III and so on)

In spite of (or sadly, because of) all of their actions, the goose just keeps pooping it out, and most keep buying it.

Ding.
Coca Cola is a shitty corporation. On the wrong side of everything including health. So they charity wash themselves.
^yep. They kill tons of people they feel are threatening their corporation in other countries. People who wish for a decent wage.

And most especially UNIONIZERS.

Oh. ..oh! ... THEY truly ruthlessly get killed.

Unfortunately. I do give a few bucks their way every once in a while.

It's a marketing axiom "sell the sizzle, Not the steak" and it works far too well in the so called western world.

There IS no human element behind corporate advertising. Just dancing mascots and polar bears. You'll never hear a story about the coca cola corporation and its work in other countries

They do battle with those fighting for GMO labeling. And promoting phosphoric acid production and consumption sucks too. Just a whole shitload of baddies from them.
