And a little bit of bass there I think.

It's still a shite song.

It's not MUCH of a song but it's still cool in an 80's way. The vibe is great as well. Far better than the Mick Jagger version. This one is actually infectious.
Yet the song doesn't go anywhere

After listening, I also noted a link to a clear version of Jackson singing TMBMTLLT, with a Freddie on piano. What is quite an insight is when you hear Freddie call out to Jackson to adlib, and the first words he sings after that on the spur of the moment are "(something something), in a world without children" :-/

What a bizarre lyric!
I don't know if you know this, but that song with only Michael was the real leak. Then, people made mixes between Freddie and Michael.

Ah - cheers; I hve had the michael and Freddie one for a few years without realising that, and wasn't aware of the Jackson only vocal. (I hadn't gone out of my way to dig around for that). Thanks.

I think the "ad-lib" was something like "grown ups... in a world without children"
Probably referring to people forgetting child like qualities. (That was a good quarter of his own personal catalogue. .. The others being topics of environment, media branding, bad relationships/women, love and just dancing for the hell of it)
Considering the final lyrics:
why is this world so full of hate
people dying everywhere
and we destroy what we create. .. etc
Then THEMATICALLY it's legit. Only this was a sketch improv. Sometimes you just wing it a bit until you find a proper lyric
I always assumed there were TWO demos but I'd heardthefirst one in a leak during the FM solo collection release

What's with all the MJ bashing? He was never found guilty of any of that crap.

There wasn't really any bashing, somebody just said it was an insight, that's about the only thing that could be interpreted as bashing. Jackson was very much attracted to children, even if it wasn't a sexual thing, that cannot be denied. He was childlike, and spent a great deal of time with children, so it is quite an interesting ad lib.
Awful song anyway. For the love of science I hope this never gets an official release, it's embarrassing.
