It was enjoyable enough. Though, Brian May came out with a couple of things that he hadn't before.
One being that when he wrote Who Wants To Live Forever, his dad dying was on his mind as well as Freddie being ill. It seemed to me by saying that, his memory may have been confusing dates,
Also, he said they were recording Killer Queen when he had to be taken to hospital, but the story I recall hearing and reading was that they they were in the U.S on tour when Brian fell ill.

Ye as years go by, Bri & Rog do get a bit confused with the stories, but it was an entertaining show, big shock Boh Rhap at no 1 ! I'd also forgotten how average don't stop me now did in the charts, but is now one of Queen's most popular songs, also great to see snippets of footage I'd never seen before, Freddie at the drums ! And good to see today's artists tipping their hats to the band :-)
I recall reading somewhere that Roger recalls all sorts of details, whereas Brian's memory isn't that great.
Does anyone have this recorded or anything? I really want to watch this. :(
I was told it was being shown again tonight. I don't know if that's true or not. Hopefully, someone'll upload it to YouTube at some point soon.
Was it my imagination or did the Bob Harris documentary footage look as if it had been remastered ? Its always looked grainy on other showings ! Possible release ? Fingers crossed.

I thought that too - however it's a while since I watched the Days of Our Lived Blu Ray so I can't recall if those bits were from there, which is possible. Conversely, the Wembley gig footage was atrocious and surely taken from an old VHS master!?

Quite a few clips looked like they were taken off VHS. Perhaps they used clips of VHS from YouTube, for ease. It wouldn't be the first time.
I actually enjoyed it. It was like a poor man's DOOL, with a lot of the same edits and footage. A bit too maudlin for me by the midway point. Whenever a song from The Miracle or Innuendo came up they would inevitably get to talking about Fred's passing, which made it an uneven affair.
Very few celebrity talking heads either, but what off choices they always turn out to be. Not terrible at all, like I was predicting.
