Hi there! I've tried to find the answer to this question in other topics but I didn't succeed. So, does anyone know why "Big Spender" doesn't feature on the listing of the official release of the March '74 show at the Rainbow? Thx!

Probably a rights thing with the publisher of the track.

I don't think so... Since it features on the november show release. Maybe it was a bad performance of the band.

It was never recorded on the March show, because they didn't want to bother with royalties etc.

Huh? Are we saying Big Spender was played at the March show, but not recorded?? I thought they just didnt play it at that show.....................

There were 2 encores performed on the show. It mentioned in Deluxe book twice. First one is the BM's letter from the time in the begiing of the book. The other one is the multitrack sheet image in the middle of the book.
It wil be great if GT will comment on the decision to not include 1st encore from March show (typically at the time it was Big Spender/Bama Lam Bama Loo) on CD.

Was that 1st encore a medley? May the problem was the copyrights on Bama Lama Bama Loo.
