I'm sure I remember Brian on Noel Edmonds Saturday Morning Swap Shop to promote NotW. Mind you I was only a kid back then so it could have been some other freakishly tall hairball, wearing clogs.

Cool, that's the first I've heard of it. I wonder if anyone taped it off TV... it'd be great to see. There's very little 70s interview stuff on film.

I actually spoke to Noel on swap shop on the phone and complained that they never ever played Queen videos.
and when noel appeared on Richard and judy on ch4 that clip of me was shown again lol

John Deacon appeared on Swop Shop, he was interviewed by Keith Chegwin briefly and gave away a signed copy of either Races or NOTW and a Queen kite!
