The only reason why they are slightly similar is just that both are fast songs.
I think Zepp's Communication Breakdown sounds closer to Paranoid than MTRnR, but that similarity is unavoidable: If you play a song in a very similar tempo, with very much the same instruments, using a similar structure, chances are you will have a relatively similar song.
In the same way, if you build a house with very much the same structure, materials and colors, both homes will be very similar, even if none of the builders knew about the other home.
Its unavoidable.

But it cannot possibly be overstated how much of an influence the early Zeppelin and Sabbath albums had on rock and metal in the 70s and 80s. For sure that stuff influenced Queen in their early days until they found their own sound.
