So guys, what do you think we can expect from Queen in 2015 ?!
Of course, we have a European tour going on in Jan/Feb but what about the new releases.
There are few ideas that have been floating around for some time now that come from reliable sources (Greg Brooks, Rhys Thomas) such as:
- Hammersmith '75 DVD
- Blu Ray release of all the videos with the outtakes etc.
- Live Killers box
- 1977 tour documentary
So, what are your thoughts ?

Hammersmith, without doubt. I hope so...

Great news so far.
What did they mean with a Live Killers box, btw?

Presumably, a hypothetical Live Killers box would include the album remastered (perhaps even reassembled to avoid cuts between different shows, and with overdubs removed), and I'd hope also with the addition of It's Late, Fat Bottomed Girls, Somebody to Love and If You Can't Beat Them.
If we're talking a box set, it'd probably include video too - in a perfect world, it'd be the whole Hammersmith show, plus what they have of Tokyo, Paris, and other shows from the period.

I think it's worth noting that the complete Hammersmith 75 video has been taken down from youtube. Surely a sign.

Hm! Quite possibly. The same happened with Rainbow videos prior to that release, and with Freddie's Love Kills and Anita's Let Me In before Queen Forever.
Looks promising, but we still ought to manage expectations.

I dont expect any Queen release, it would be just too much Queen releases in a short period of time, it would give a huge saturation.
Anyway, I expect the following (in order!):
Q+AL 2015 Tour (which we all already know will take place from Jan to Feb, I would say they may add dates for march too)
DVD/BR release of the 2014 Q+AL tour (somewhere between june/august 2015. Just my speculation)
2015 tour part 2 (between sept - nov, there's already a date for Indonesia, if I remember the correct date it will be on October 23)
Now, I dont think they will release any Queen stuff in 2015, but since we had a clue about forthcoming releases for Queen (IWBTLY and a few songs from the Rainbow album) in the Q+AL tour, we should take a closer look to the setlist.

The QOL admin confirmed that vinyl reissues will be out next year

Interesting. Do we know if they'll just be the 2011 remasters again?

No clue...

I fear it won't be released.
The easiest thing they could do is releasing a Hammersmith Box Set, with both the '75 and '79 shows so they can cover the '79 period and stop releasing anything else from that period. Easiest way to learn money without remastering new material.

I think the Live Killers set is more a thing those representatives have hoped for, not necessarily something that was ever being seriously considered by QPL.

They took down basically all Hammersmith Odeon 75 videos from youtube. When they removed all Rainbow videos, they released Rainbow a few months later. And they remastered the Hammersmith Odeon footage in 2009, so I think/hope there will be a Hammy 75 release soon, maybe next Christmas?
Other products they were talking about
- BBC boxset
- Queen anthology boxset (last time planned for 2009 !!!)
- Houston 77
- Greatest Video Hits 3
- a complete boxset of all videos
- also the live albums were not released in 2011, but they were planned to be released "next year"
Plus we know that in the last years they remastered Hyde Park 76 and both Earls Court 77 nights...
But to be realistic I guess we'll get a compilation with one new FM/MJ song

For 2015 I place my bets on the release of a Q+AL show on video and by xmas time, the release of the Hammersmith Odeon '75 audio and video!
