Foreign Sand question

Every time I listen Roger and Yoshiki's studio version of Foreign Sand, I can hear clearly another voice, the voice of X Japan's singer Toshi in the chorus

Do any of you guys knows if he really sang in the studio version but got no credit for the session?
I can clearly hear another voice since the first time I heard it (long before I knew about X Japan, Yoshiki or Yoshiki) or it is just my imagination?

Was that the fellow who sang onstage with Roger at one of his two festival appearances in Japan that year?

Yup, that's Toshi.

I always thought it was just another vocal part by Roger in the studio version, done by Toshi when they did it live.

Should that not be the case, I'll happily stand corrected.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

I hear it as Roger too, and have never seen any mention of Toshi guesting on it either - for the original poster to say he "clearly" hears Toshi on it then his hearing is either suspect, or incredible!!
