Ooooooh... tough one! So many different eras for this song, and so many great versions! Got a liking for this version at the moment:
I always knew I was a star And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me-Freddie Mercury

The 1979-1981 versions were all excellent

I like the slow versions from the early/mid 70's.

There's a charm to the 1979 versions. Mercury's vocal duels with the audience blossomed around this time, and this song was a breeding ground for them.

But by 81-82 it just exploded. It may seen like a trite answer, but Milton Keynes is probably the peak.

We have to choose between all the tours, excepting the Queen I & II tour.

...

I'm with Pittrek, choose any one between 79'-81' and you will be happy.

The Works tour version isn't the best. The Magic tour is a good one. The SHA tour also is one of the best versions as the Crazy Tour concerts.
But I think The Game Tour version is one of the best, if not the best.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

The vocal duels sound great on the latter versions but the faster, straighter rock groove sounds too "pushy" imho.

I'll take Roger's oscillating mid-tempo vibe over that any day.
Oh, To fall in love was my very first mistake.

I love the heavy feel and the pace on the version at the Milton Keynes Bowl.

Best version of "Now im here" is when Queen Played Hamersmith in 79 for the people of kampuchea.
Its a rocking Magical Mercury classic!

Thank god that Newcastle clip has been remastered. Otherwise it would sound muddy and unintelligible :/
