I found something cool on a record fair today: a Dutch Jazz test pressing. I can't for the life of me find info on it on the internet (it's not even on Discogs), leading me to hope it's actually quite rare, but I'm hoping you people could provide me with some info on this thing.

I'm hoping to one day find the Hot Space TP with the Bowie version of Cool Cat.

Does anyone have a similar test pressing? It looks like this:

Discogs does not have all test pressings. So many TP's were made and not all of them are in the hands of collectors or Discogs users.
Yours is rare but I dont know if demand is high and therefore its value. I also once saw one for NOTW with the same Dutch 'proefpersing' label.

Oh and I own that US Hot Space TP with Bowie on Cool Cat :)

Nice! Was it expensive?

I still have to play the record but I don't think there is something different on it than on the regular record.

Yea it wasn't cheap. I bought it about 10 years ago.

See if the matrix nbrs match with the released version. If so then it is the same version.

Ah thanks. Well, part of it is the same. The test pressing's matrix is GE 166 50-062-68120 and it also says RTB 8 (Roy Thomas Baker?) and STERLING. My regular version only has 50-062-68120. Is anyone knowledgable about matrix codes?

The widely-understood first pressings were YAX 5551 1U RTB1 STERLING & YAX 5550 1U RTB2 STERLING
