ASK PHOEBE BLOG (PETER FREESTONE)
"I suppose one of the craziest memories was one night Freddie and I were in New York and went out to meet some friends at a big disco, including our good friend David Hodo, the construction worker from The Village People. At one point there were about four of us drinking at the bar, Freddie, David, another friend and I. Freddie was in a very excitable mood, maybe a little more than usual, but I knew he was safe with them so I excused myself and went to the toilet. When I came back no-one was at the bar where I had left them. I could hear a bit of commotion coming from round the corner, so I turned to go and see what was happening. As I turned, David came to me and said I had better come and see what was going on. On rounding the corner I saw Freddie jumping up and down in a wire cage, used as a big bin for empty beer and drinks cans, shouting ‘ I’m white trash, I’m white trash’ at the top of his voice, with a huge grin plastered over his face. David and I got Freddie out of the bin and got him into a corner to quieten him down a bit and came to the conclusion that someone had spiked his drink while we weren’t paying attention. Luckily Freddie came to no harm."

(Is he drunk? Why would you talk about this in the internet? Freddie would want people to know this things? Is this real? [Only questions are what I had in my head, and thought: "Really?". Palmface involved, I left the desk when my computer is placed.])

It would be alwas good to add a proper link to check it. or in case of Phoebes blog the date. Aside from that it`s well known that Freddie had those situations more than once. Sometimes it ends up in a overdose for him and a paramedic was consulted.
Mack told the press in a filmed interview that his Munich party entourage left him near a dumbster/ trashcan in a potentially critical situation ( unconscious). He find himself there the other morning all alone - No Peter,Jim or Terry etc.... around ! I´ve just mentioned that for the people who think that those people were around him 24/7. No disrespect but they were not

I don't think Freddie would give a shit. It's not that outrageous or anything really.

That incident was recounted in Freestone's book about Freddie as well! Except I though the book just had him yelling "I'm trash!" (no white).......close enough anyway.......lol

I was given the Johnny Carson book written by Henry Bushkin for xmas.
I returned it Saturday, having read a few pages.
Bushkin was a close, trusted friend and attorney of his for eons. Things said and done in his presence were often done with the utmost trust in that friendship, expecting them to remain secret.
I'm not interested in that type of back stabbing, and that's what this is, with a bit too much detail. Best for him to have brought up something a bit more amusing, whilst saying 'oh, but for the stories I COULD tell.'
We all let our guard down amongst our truest friends. Too much so at times. One doesn't expect all of the lowest details to emerge later on.

Actually this is a pretty old story, I'm surprised you guys didn't know this. Don't forget - gay bars = frantic dancing to awful music + lots of cocaine + gay sex with strangers
