For those that think my comments about Brian not being on it. Let me tell you I don't drink and am therefore sober. And the playing of the intro for CLTCL was awful.

Watch it all again, when you are sober.[/QUOTE]

I'm perfectly sober - it started at 3:15pm here on the US west coast! :-) I will watch that again, if it's archived somewhere, or if someone captured it. I didn't notice his playing as off at all, but I couldn't turn it up too loud. But yes, Brian's been known to have his off moments, so maybe he did here, too, I just didn't catch it, and some things I specifically listened for were very much on.

The performance was fantastic! Brian was near perfection tonight.

I think that the TV mix was bad - according to other users - but i´m outside UK and i can tell you that the Internet stream was fantastic. Great sound and image!

I hope someone recorded the Internet stream - at least the sound - to synch with the great image of the TV broadcast.

Happy 2015 everyone!

P.S.- I don´t hink there was a concert before Don´t Stop me Now, at least according the the set-list on QO.

Quick note before a full review later: the band didn't play anything that wasn't aired by the BBC.

Despite a 10.30pm scheduled start time, they came on to fit the TV broadcast.

Now, who wants to master my (seemingly complete!) audience recording?

I'd love to have your audio when you've uploaded it. I'd like to sync it with the video.

Guitar was way too low on FBG. Other than that I thought it was a pretty good show.

The performance was quite good, esp. BoRhap/Killer Queen/Rock Section [ending]. Maybe it seems to be so "soulless" as their movement was limited by the stage. Brian's playing was really cool but when I saw Roger's expression during I Want it All guitar passage and then guitar solo I thought that he was gonna have a heart attack.

PS. I bet that Bri had a little drink or a vodka shot before the performance, he was so relaxed and smiled very often.

I agree, Roger looked like he was gonna join Freddie during some of the heavier numbers! I also thought it was odd the way he stared at Adam during Under Pressure like he had a man crush on him! Was really odd!

Brian's playing was the highlight... played safe on DSMN and then got more gutsy as the gig went on.

Hey, Happy New Year! Unfortunately, I missed it last night. But I've caught a few of the videos. Since the venue was so much smaller than any of the summer gigs it must have been a big adjustment, still, they looked happy and excited to be there. As for the crowd, a helluva good story for their New Year's Eve. Way to kick off 2015.

I watched it again last night, in a sober state (as I was when I first watched it, in fact!!)....WHAT exactly was so awful about how Brian played the intro? It sounded fine to me.........its a D major chord! There's not a lot TO screw up....

The way they played the intro on the Q+PR tours always kinda bugged me ever so slightly, actually....how Paul always threw a few extra G notes in there.....lol

I'm sober.

My conclusion:

You're deaf. Or so biased that you don't even know what you're hearing.

Bri is playing better than ever. The BoRhap solo may be the best he's ever done live. After all these years it's still so expressive, and spotless on this occasion.

And the Under Pressure duet was such a joy to watch. These men are having such a good time on stage.

Lambert has grown into the role. A far cry from 2012. He serves the songs so much better now. He's doing this music justice.

In a few years this isn't going to exist, folks. Soak in what you can. Half of Queen still exist and are having more fun playing together than they have in decades.

^^^^ and another Amen to that. I finally saw the entire show today. I like a crowd that's up on their feet the entire concert and completely into it. At the very end Adam tried to yield the stage over to only Brian and Roger but they were having none of it and were wildly motioning for him to step back in, even chasing him. I wonder why people root for Adam? Hmmmmmmm.

Did anyone besides the OP actually find the intro to CLTCL 'awful'?

Still trying to figure that one out....
