Coincidence? Mother Love - Big Log

Has anyone spotted the similarities between Mother Love and Big Log by Robert Plant? Especially the intro sounds very similar.

Any thoughts on that one?

Actually, the instrumental beginning of 'Big Log' is very similar to the lyrical notes of the beginning 30 seconds or so of The Turtles 'Happy Together'

Actually I recall a interview with Brian where they had both listened to 'Wicked Game' by Chris Issak and were going after a similar type vibe on Mother Love

I think I can see where OP is coming from, but you have to be looking out for it. It's not obvious, so not something you'd instantly notice.

For me, there is a very, very slight similarity in the beat at the start, and an even slighter similarity about the guitar at first. But it's not lasting, and certainly not a rip off.

For what it's worth, I've shit bigger logs that sounded better when they hit the pan. That's one awful song lol.
