Brian's Brixton gig - possible release?

I just found this video on Brian's channel : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3qqRZhWzDI

It's "Since You've Been Gone" from Brixton Academy, but it looks and sounds much better than on the official releases. According to the video description it has been re-mastered by Tim Young, under the supervision of Justin Shirley-Smith and Kris Fredriksson.

I do have serious problems to believe they have remastered it just for a youtube upload - were there any "indications" that a new release would be planned in the near future?

I think we will see a Brian box set in the near future, like Roger's ''the lot'', makes sense for the remastered stuff :-)

According to Brian, ALL available solo videos will be remastered and uploaded in highest possible quality to his YouTube channel. I can't see them getting new physical releases, but I would like to see them on Blu ray.

Well I'd just say that remastering something ONLY for a youtube video is a waste of money, but the truth is that I'm not an old millionaire :-)

I agree.
Remastering for youtube is like remastering for 128kb mp3 - a waste of time.
I'll stick with my interlaced VHS thanks.

Agreed - Brian's description of "highest possible Quality" presumably refers to some kind of down-scaled YouTube-able, online quality and NOT actually hi-def releasable quality?

I definitely think it's supposed to tease us for an upcoming release :)

I get the feeling that anything they post on YT is probably not going to get officially released, could be wrong though.
Arse.

Live at the Brixton Academy on its own will never get a re release because its all about maximum profits. It will never turn a profit. I have the CD and bought it out of obligation. Never actually listened to it.

Although..... I did notice a lot of bra less action in the clip so..... ;-)
