Yeah let's hope the owner will share these at some point ;-)[/QUOTE]

Someone was actually kind enough to do just that.

Ghostwithasmile is that owner

What about the rest of the list ?

I have a version of Breakthru with different editing shown in the cable channel "Muzic" during the 90's and I'm sure is not the GDVDHII one, neither the Greatest Flix II one or the Miracle EP one.

1. Keep Yourself Alive (Brewer Street Studios) - Alternative Version In Documentary ''Queen Forever In Nederland'' (Snippet of Drum Solo)

2. Liar (St. John's Wood Studios) - Alternative Angles on ''Trident reel''

3. 'Greatest Flix' Version & Proper Ending, GHV I = Tie Your Mother Down [Standard Version] ?!

4. We Will Rock You" (Fast Version) - ''In addition to the Love Of My Life promotional video, a second video was used to promote the Live Killers album - this time for the so called "fast live version" of We Will Rock You... '' queenpedia.com

5. Bicycle Race & Fat Bottomed Girls ''GVH I Versions'' not from 70' era, as an example Killer Queen (1981 Montage), I'm In Love With My Car (1998 Queen Rocks) or Good Company ( ANATO 30th Anniversary Edition DVD)

+ many of videos stored on film

Thank you, that is some very useful info.
(1) You're right. I haven't seen that before. It is a completely different take during the drum solo. It is odd that this new montage utilises one of the BBC Version as the soundtrack.

(2) Also, didn't notice. You're great! Slightly different editing.

(3) I can't tell if those proper endings were there in the first place when editied back in the day or if they were newly restored and inserted for the DVDs. Many videos on both GVH volumes have longer/different endings. "Fat Bottomed Girls", "Friends Will Be Friends", "Hammer To Fall".

(5) "Fat Bottomed Girls" is definitely from the 70s, why shouldn't it be? Or do you mean it was extended for DVD? "Bicycle Race" too? I had the impression this was the "rejected" video from back in the day. Why else would they have bothered with filming the naked race sequence?

Wow! Do you have any noticeable differences that you can point out? Or is there some way you can share it?

I'll post the rest within the next days. After 1991 it gets quite confusing with all those montage videos. Also wondering wheter or not I should include the performances at the "Golden Rose Pop Festival" from 1984/1986 and "Radio GaGa" from the San Remo Festival.

Tie Your Mother Down From ''GVH I'' have proper ending, this video proves it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnaaNYSAgwc

And I have a question, Now I'm Here (Live At The Rainbow) It is a real promo video from 1975 or just bonus video on GF 1 & GVH I ?

I was referring to exactly the bonus video featured on GVH and Box Of Flix, the regular performance.
Interestingly this very same TV special from Italy also features this video but with backstage clips in the beginning, (similar to the 1992 edits but with live audio!)

So it might have been used for promotional purposes back in the 70s.

Sorry for the delay. I just checked and I was totally wrong about this one. The version I have is identical to GDVDHII.

I have still go the original clips of all the videos from 'the Miracle' album on VHS from when they orginally premiered on UKTV on 'The Chart Show....I suspect these are exactly the same common edits but I certainly recall 'I Want It all' being shown in different snippets over a couple of weeks, well before the single was released, so I suppose it's feasible these were early cuts that changed before the final version?

I also still have an official promo VHS cassette in a blue card sleeve with a photo on the front, which I think is the same picture used for the 'I'm Going Slightly Mad' single cover. The video lists (from memory) three promo videos - 'Innuendo' and strangely 'Im Going Slightly Mad' twice. I don't know if the repeated one is an alternate edit or the same as I'm not sure I ever watched it!

edit: just found a link to some details....http://www.discogs.com/Queen-Im-Going-Slightly-Mad-Innuendo/release/3388797

Radio Ga Ga without "Thanks To Metropolis" - there is some evidence for the existence of this version? I have ''The Works EP'', at this point, the Radio Ga Ga goes into I Want To Break Free, there is no possibility to see ending

Hammer To Fall - Alternative Edit in this interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yAWWrlHoL_c

One Year Of Love, The Invisible Man [Silhouette Only Version] & The Miracle [Kids Only] - I think, this is not the real promo video

One Year Of Love - special clip from A Kind Of Magic EPK, the other two just out-takes from this videos

Two versions of the ''Love Of My Life'' Promo Video from Live Killers are missing in the list

1. Love Of My Life (Live Version) - Greatest Flix I

2. Love Of My Life (Live Version - at the end words ''thank you'' edited out) This version released on ''The Champions'' US Documentary & Greatest Video Hits 1

So they used a video recording from a 1977 concert to promote a 1979 live album? :o

I think I read somewhere that the promo video for 'Scandal' is slightly different that the one on GVH II..

"We will rock you (fast live)" similar to the promo video, unlike Houston concert, this video is shorter, and there are several effects
