Yeah, sounds like he pulled it of fairly well. If it wasn't his son, that is.

Rufus is a very accomplished Drummer. I wouldn't be surprised if it was him.

Pretty sure it was Roger.

FBG was Roger on drums, I took a snippet on Sunday night. http://youtu.be/AagcavNhPHo Still walking on air from the whole thing, I must say!

Ha! I don't know why I felt the need to say I've been a Queen fan since my early teens, it just felt like the thing to do! ;-)

Just realized you must be the one whose blog post / reflection I read yesterday on Queen & Freddie and being a teenage fan back in the day and now, about to attend the new show. Really good read. Thank you.
Er, I guess it's public so I should go ahead and link it, eh? This one http://liztray.com/LT/files/queen.php

Guitar cam on the black Guyton (current Drop D tuning guitar) for Fat Bottomed Girls worked fine both nights, it amazes me how much some of those strings move around. I guess that's partly due to the Red Special design having a short neck, plus the camera is in use for Drop D tuning only.
Such a great effect. Wasn't Ronnie Wood the first to do it? I saw him with it in 2003.
John Entwistle had this going in 2000 for sure. Not sure if he'd done it sooner?

Shame there's no FLAC share of full audio for this show yet. Lots of others including 17th, but not the 18th. Somone must have it surely?
