It's not actually Mercuryman12 who leaked it, someone else who created a new account solely for the purpose of doing so, leaked it.
Mercuryman12 was just an inconsiderate, disrespectful, selfish ass who was determined to get it back out no matter the cost.

Maybe TimBHM, but Mercuryman's postings now number 231 (although it was probably 150 when this started),
I've been here longer than many (although under a few pseudonyms), but my post count isn't as high as some as I don't tend to get involved in some of the more heated discussions that go on.
I don't think there's a relationship between the two people.

I think I said before that Brians wigs idea was totally sound and generous - giving us the chance to own an actual pressing of a great show that none of us were sure even existed. Such a shame it resulted in several huge threads of mud slinging. I don't doubt the original leaker had good intentions, but there's been some nasty old things said which is not what this forum is about. The rights and wrongs of uploading change from item to item and we're not privy to negotiations that happen behind the scenes so it is a case of the bystanders accepting who is right and wrong (in this case it seems quite clear). I dunno what I'm trying to say here to be honest. But let's hope that those like Brians wig are not discouraged from further ideas like his original one. I know there are 'secret groups' that openly share this stuff (I'm hoping to get involved with my protools expertise - my previous attempt at sharing material was ruined in a similar way) and perhaps we should be happy that they exist here at all among us and are willing to share their expertise (if not recordings) with us. I do count myself among those with 'expertise' BTW :)

If we look at that list of untrustworthy people - they are the ones who retreat to their caves not long after they've made their move.

In fact, the lack of moderation here is why many of your shares can happen - the ones that present officially released material in a new way. There are very few forums online where you could post those without repercussion. I've even done a few of these myself.
