saw earlier today that Adam had twittered (twitted? tweeted?) that he had a 'big surprise announcement' to make today........
Glamberts were all in a tizzy........
turns out all it was was that the title of his forthcoming album is "The Original High".........whatever the heck that means
Actually I'll probably buy it........hoping that he at least shows a bit of Queen influence......:D

I'll say I liked his first album more than his 2nd......if only cus it was more rock-oriented...........

Well you're not alone. His 2nd album sold just 77,000 copies and I bought about 5 of those. If you re-try Adam's music, give "Underneath" one listen on YouTube or some other tracks from the last album. It starts off slow but builds and soars in Adam's way. Billboard magazine just published an article on Adam's Trespassing album contending it was under appreciated at release and should be "rediscovered". I hope people who are liking his voice on this tour will think about it. He just turned 33, so it's an exciting time for him either way. It's reported he's getting mobbed and can no longer take the tube in London, as more people recognize him after all the exposure from the New Years Eve concert and the tour. Getting to be a household name now. Good on him and Queen + AL.[/QUOTE]

I would say that the bigger news here is actually sad and tragic meaning that we are not going to have a new studio l.p. released by Queen + Adam Lambert or just Queen. How VERY disappointing!!! I'm really mad and angry!!!!

Hey, it still could happen.........took em 3 years after they started touring to do one with Paul........

The king of Rhye: if youve got money to waste on adam lambert then you cant value money.
Better buy some food and take it to your nearest food bank as it will do more good.

Great news indeed. This means that the screaming goat will be focusing on his new stuff and stop touring with Brian and Roger, at least for a while. That will give (i hope) the boys time to release some Queen Material. Maybe a Dvd with an unseen concert. Maybe hammy 79'

fr1986: Adam Lambert has took valuable time up for Brian & Roger when they could have been doing more worth while projects.
I hope now after this ridiculous circus of a tour they get all this shit Lambert virus out of there system and look back and feel highly embarrassed.

Did you go to any of the Queen + Adam Lambert LIVE shows so that you could give a first hand, intelligent assessment of this collaboration that has been getting rave reviews?

Are you aware that they released the Live at the Rainbow WHILE they were doing the preproduction for the Q+AL tour?

I dont like his solo stuff because its not the kind of music I like. I may give it a try once again in a few weeks.
I hope his next album will give him the exposure as solo artist he needs.
