Everyone of us is going to die sooner or later, and there's no harm in speaking about it in a neutral way.[/QUOTE]
There's also nothing to gain from speculating on who's going to die first out of three members of a band whom we love.

Dear goose44, try thinking about something more positive and meaningful. You say that you wish to "to put some new real depth into queenzone"; go for some colonic irrigation with a bucket of acid then fuck off!.

Imagine people from "Queen camp" [GT, GB, JSS and others] came to this forum and saw this thread... It is beyond my imagination how someone could make thread like that after all they've shared with us (knowledge, info on future and past projects, info on "wanted" tapes etc.). Where the hell is admin when he is most needed.

Actually, there is something to gain.
What will happen to Queen+whoever if Brian or Roger dies in the next few years?
What will happen to the archive releases when the members die?
What will happen to the re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-releases when the members die?

This makes me remember of "(Dead)", All Dead All Dead, and Death On Two Legs.

Yeah, it would be such a shame to treat them as mere mortals, and to ask reasonabe questions about the future of the brand whose membership keeps dwindling.
It's better to close your eyes and pretend that nothing is ever going to change...

To refuse to discuss it on the grounds that it would achieve nothing, have no meaning, and be generally a vile thing to talk about, is not to be in denial of mortality.

No. Just no. This is too sick

Paul Rodgers. Possibly by a ninja death punch.

Tero, you talk like you really don't know how music industry [business] reacts to this... Universal would for 99 % hire some producents, mixers to remix unreleased or discarded tracks, loop some vocals from demos etc. Basically it could be the same fate which met MJ's unreleased tracks but it won't come to this as long as Bri and Rog are fit and healthy and as long as all the people from "Queen camp" and Freddie's estate are alive.

Err... No.
Universal wouldn't be hiring anybody, because they don't own any rights to the material.
At best they would suggest it to the remaining stakeholders.
The future of Queen depends a lot on who dies next.
Right now there are two people making the decisions (and two people collecting the checks).
But if all the decisions about Queen were entirely in the hands of Brian, we could expect a Queen+Kerry Ellis theme album about saving the badgers...
It's not a pretty image, is it?

Kerry Ellis, badger conservation, and Queen are all separate aspects of Brian's life, and he's never treated them as anything but that. I doubt very much that he'd write a song under the Queen name about badgers, just as I doubt he'd write one about stereoscopy or the need to be better prepared to prevent asteroid collision.
Granted, he did let one of his pursuits outside Queen seep into his music in the 70s, that being astronomy and astrophysics, but he wrote '39 in such an emotionally based way that it was about something much more accessible than just the raw theory of relativity. Brian's always valued Queen's music being universally relatable, after all. I think he'd struggle to make badger culling in the UK universally relatable in a song. It just isn't something he'd even try, for both reasons I've given.
But all that said, Brian hasn't written a song for himself to perform in a very long time. I don't think it's likely that he will at all.

What a stupid insensitive thread this is.
You clearly have too much time on your hands.
Freddie always said he would never ever tour when he was old as it would look ridiculous, and here we have May & Taylor doing just that!
Roger does look done in though and really they should never have gone on the road doing so many dates as time will take its toll on there health.
At there age the studio should be there biggest friend these days,
