What was wrong with your Leeds recording? What equipment do you use? Do you plan to share the recordings that turned out ok?
I am especially interested in any London recordings that you have. I am not so happy with my London recordings.
For the 17th, I set the recording volume a bit too low. There was very loud clapping next to me which was over 0 db (but I always have the limiter turned on to prevent distortions from this situation). But I will have to figure out how to reduce the volume on just the clapping so that I can increase the overall volume. After the 1st night, I turned the recording volume up a notch, which was just perfect for all of the rest of the concerts, except Nottingham where I was up front & high and really close to the speakers.
For the 18th, the recording is great, except for the loud, constantly talking, drunk women in front of me. Well, it might not be too bad overall, just really annoying in some places. Plus, someone behind me had a camera with a very loud shutter that you can hear every time he took a picture - especially annoying in the quieter songs.
Yes, I highly recommend the Church CA-11 Croakies!!! Plus the Chruch battery box (really just a wired cap to a 9-volt battery) and the Sony PCM-M10 recorder. I have tried a number of recorders and mics, and this is my favorite set of equipment, easiest to use and with the most reliable results.
Church Audio equipment is really good and reasonably priced. But, if you order any equipment from Chruch Audio, be aware that it is a one man, made to order operation!!! Depending on how busy he is, it may take 3-4 weeks, or even longer, before an order is shipped. Email him to get a time estimate. I ordered these mics with just enough time that I should have gotten them a few days before leaving for the Los Angeles concert. Due to some family emergency issues he was having, I did not get them till after I returned from the Atlantic City concert. So, I had to book a UK trip to test the mics ;)

My Leeds recording was terrible because i have the brand new TASCAM DR-22WL, since they use cardoid stereo mics built in i thought they would be kick ass!!! i put my recorder in the inside pocket of my coat with it folded over so the top of the recorder pokes out and records everything, sadly in Leeds it must not have been out far enough because it sounds very (and i mean very) muffled! almost sounds as if im in a different room entirely to the band!! So i was pretty pissed off with that!!
Would absolutely love any advice/instructions people can give me to making the recording as clear as possible without having to purchase the external mics
as for the sharing the recordings... possibly i may do!! the only bad thing is ive never done it before so would need a little bit of tuition and the sad thing is my upload speed SUCKS!!!!!! Stephen Hawking could do better on a bloody power surge haha!
I was there for the 18th Jan 2nd night in London!! the recordings ive done sound very fat and full of balls (if you wanna call it that)
Georgia if you wanna compare, if you PM me your email il send you One Vision and you can hopefully get some sort of interest from it and maybe point me in the right direction with regards to clearness and minimising audience like you've somehow expertly done!! gotta be said, i was very impressed by your Leeds and Manchester recordings, if i didnt know any better i would have sworn their soundboard!! I may be naive but i think people are gonna be talking about those recordings for a good few years to come saying they were the best from this UK tour!!

Thanks for sharing!
Can someone help with a problem?
When i try to play the tracks there's an error:
"FLAC_FILE_DECODER_SEEKABLE_STREAM_DECODER_ERROR - This error is caused by corrupted file or hardware malfunction"
I try to burn the tracks with NERO to a cd but don't work either.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Sounds like you do not have a flac codec for your media player? Download VLC media player, it's free and will play the file no problem. To burn to CD you need to trancode the files into Wav format. Download frontend flac which is also free, drag the flac files into that and select the decode button, it will produce the wav files into the same directory as the flacs are in. burn the wavs to the CD then as usual.
Both links are for windows, if you are on a mac just search for the mac versions.

If you're using a Mac, I personally like Vox. It has gapless playback for FLAC https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vox/id461369673?mt=12
The other thing about burning to CD though, is that your burner will need to know how to convert the files to CD-format. This is a 24bit 96kHz audio file, and audio in CD format need to be 16bit 44.1kHz

I have also used the AnyBurn software for creating CDs directly from flac files on a Windows PC:

Inside pocket of a coat is very likely not a very good place to put the recorder when using the built-in mics. There are too much heavy layers of material in a coat for good sound penetration. You would likely do better by putting it a shoulder bag of some sort with the opening fully unzipped.
