In the 70s & 80s Queen performed on the nations favourite chart show "Top of the pops" and my question here is which is your favourite performance?
For me it has to be in this order:

1. Seven seas of Rhye.
2 Good old fashioned Lover boy,
3. Killer Queen
4. Las palabras de amour
5 Now im Here.

*Las Palabras De Amor.

Maybe Now I'm Here, because I want to see it full. Or Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

- Good old fashioned Lover boy. There's something about that version that stands for itself. Maybe that Brian mistake in the solo.... lovely.

Visually, one of the Seven seas of Rhye performances is outstanding. Sadly the one in the worst quality.

yeah "Good old fashioned lover boy" performance was recorded in the weather studio at the BBC
as the BBC were haveing a strike, and Top of the Pops was affected.
I love the performance, Freddie looks so cool and Brian delicately tweeks his strings, very nimbely.

Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy, because it's the only piece of footage of BM playing the first commercially available RS copy.

Enjoy watching Las Palabras De Amor performance. Freddie and Roger in "business-style" costumes makes me smile everytime as I watch it.

Also very interesting to see Brian with the Les Paul, might be worth it just for that...

Uhm, that would be Seven Seas of Rhye...

But yeah, I think the Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy is their best TV performance, if we're not counting the We Are The Champions TOTP version.

I always liked the way Champagne was always used by Freddie to toast the audience with.

I wonder if he did that during any of the TOTP performances too? He had so much of the stuff during 'live' shows that it seems they need a Gerry-can to hold it all for gigs?

What does anyone else think - as an ardent Queen fan?

They should be a lot more guys like Gerry on here because he is really passionate about his belief in Queen.
i admire that in anybody.
Yeah the Beeb version of "Champions" was better than the original promo video.
