The MK concert by Channel 4 would be amazingly perfect!

What would this give that isn't on the official DVD? Queen On Fire Live At The Bowl is the same concert I assume?

Possibly different editing with different camera angles?

Indeed.
That time will come, one day you'll see, when we can all be friends... ("The Miracle", Queen, 1989)

As far as I know the camera angles are the same.

I'd be interested in how good the audio is.

Yes, i think the most important thing here is the audio. If my memory is right, not too long ago you shared MK with some songs from a TV broadcast and it sounded amazing.

Wow man. This is amazing really. This makes me wonder. How much footage was recorded from newcastle.? Because i counted like 4 cameras rolling. Enough at least, for a bonus release + they have the auidio intact. I had uploaded to you tube the T.V Broadcast of the MK gig years ago. I think it does not work anymore. It contains slightly different camera angles and no overdubs. Brian's choruses sound much louder on this version than on the Dvd. Roger's too as i recall.

Thanks for this man! Very very very super duper apreciated.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

i got some good reports back from my friends about Newcastle 86 and everyone loving Freddie as the main reason for attending the gig for many!
Magic seeing Queen in all there glory back then, far cry from today's shambles.

I'll dig those VHS tapes out when I can and, at first, create a list of what is on them with comments on the picture and audio quality. If there's any 'gems' hidden away I'll be happy to share. :-)

pittrek wrote: Wow, I never realised that a version which looks so bad is circulating. I have a different version which doesn't have the colour lines (what's the correct term ?) but it has probably a bit less detail and has other problems (blown out whites). Is it worth uploading too?

I'm not sure. Does it look any better than the processed version? I managed to deal with colour lines, so when that aspect is corrected maybe it's not really worth it if it really has less detail and overblown whites. How about some screenshot(s)?

I think it overall may be better.

Thanks.

Apart from the one Pittrek uploaded, there is also this one from many years ago. Although it is incomplete, and may be from the same copy that Pittrek shared.

Chief could you please re upload if it's no trouble
