Quite the opposite - it only happened at rare scheduled events.

Not surprised! Any known place on where they did sign? Other than New York.

Signing the Hot Space album.

That must have been hilarous since they all hated the thing, except Freddie.

I remember a quote from John and it was far from positive. I believe it was on Sebastian's site.
John: "It's the one thing I wish I could do - sing."

^ correct.

And New York is the only signing that seems to be documented by history.

Anyone else see that first pic and want to jump in a time machine and put a hit out on Paul Prenter?

Perhaps for the results, but was the album John wanted to do, more oriented to funk, disco music. According to Mack.

Yeah, but when it comes to knowing what John thought, John's a far more reliable source than Mack.

John said several times that he didn't like the album.

Why would he, anyway? Most of it was not written by him, a lot of it does not feature him at all and on the one song he wrote he had to compromise and allow a guitar solo he initially didn't want.

Other than 'Under Pressure', nothing on that album ended up the way he would've wanted it.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.
