If nobody bites, then I'll just send off my VHS tape to whoever wants to transfer it. It's in a box, ready to go.

Yes, that's for DVD - Wizard was referring to VHS. There was no HQ recording on VHS...the best is SP. Or at least that's my understanding from 80s and early to mid 90s recording :)

...based on what I'm reading here, you've got a version of this on DVD but only in SP? Could you post some screenshots and an audio sample?

It will be quite a lot of work to get my VHS tape transferred to digital, so maybe yours will still be good enough to use for this project.
