Hello everybody,
does anybody of you have an idea of the meaning of the 8 point star symbol that Brian has sticked on his Red Special?
There is also on one of his official FB account, and on the cover of Back to the Light almob.
What does it represent?
Ciao From Milano, I saw the gig in Milan and the one in Krakow, great!

I'm not sure that there is any 'meaning' to it as such, other than it was kind of the logo used for his Back to the Light LP, which for him was about coming out of a long period of depression starting roughly with the breakdown of his first marriage, and culminating in the death of his father and Freddie.

So perhaps for him it's a reminder that there is light in his life, and it's obviously a reference to his love of all things cosmos related.

I don't think there's any illuminati reference there ;-)

I've always had a theory that the star had roots deeper than Queen. If you look at the Smile logo, there is a similar star drawn. I wouldn't be surprised if the (let's call it) Back to the Light star referenced this logo but simply updated it.

Again - just a theory. Ultimately the star obviously has significance to Dr. May's passion for astronomy.

Star = Astronomy = Brian May

That's it.

So, following that formula:

Doctors = Quacks = Roger Taylor.

Musical Prostitute = Artist = Freddie Mercury

Electronics = Bassist = Deacon John

Faggot = Stupid Little Man = Bad Ol' Freddie's Manager Who Almost Kill The Band And Made Stupid Interviews About His Dick And His Asshole BTW.
Don't forget my collection of demos and outtakes: http://goo.gl/uQARhn PM me if you want any [leaked] multitrack. Ya se ven los tigres en la lluvia.

I guess you mean, Biology = Quacks?

Oh thanks i had a look at Smile logo, it actually has a similar star in too.
This is curious. I thought itcould have some relation to scientology, or something, as it is a symbol usually used by religions.

I think there's a coincidence.

The Smile logo was designed by Tim Staffel and the star is a reference to a "beautiful" smile while the BTTL logo was made by Richard Gray (I dont know if it was based on the title or if Brian did some request to include that star)

There's a different star in the Resurrection single

and another different star in the Another World album. This one is a clear reference to the album title:

All of them are variations of the same idea.
Queen: Roger Taylor, Mike Grose, Freddie Mercury, Brian May.

The star is always the same.

Especially the Another World star, is exactly the same than BTTL, except for the planet in front of it.
