Came across the attached photo (paparazzi one I think) - can anyone date it? It was labelled 1990, but looks to me like 87/88.
The other guy looks like Terry Giddings.

Looks like 87/88 too me too; it also looks like it was taken during Freddie's 'labourer in a garden centre/hod carrier on a building site' phase too!

I'd say 1988. He looks a bit thinner than in 1987.

Great picture, Freddie looks pretty badass in that cap (Freddie ALWAYS looks badass, but you get the picture...). Another thing; Freddie loved his white shoes! He wore them during the Barcelona Sessions and in the Scandal-video.

I think 1988 also..Its not 1987 cos he used steroids and loked chubby like you se in Great Pretender interviw by the jukebox.
In that time i think he started use kemo therapy and stoped using steroids..so that and AZT(killer drug) made him thinner by the years.

Wow, great photos - so many I'd never seen!
I really like the ones with megafan Isabelle Osman - I wonder what she's up to now. A Google search on her only turns up her pics with Freddie!
And this one is just lovely: https://queenphotos.wordpress.com/2013/11/16/freddie-and-the-london-cast-of-blues-in-the-night/freddie-with-cast-of-blues-in-the-night-1988/.

Why would he have been using steroids during that interview as he hadn't been even diagnosed yet? At least that's what the official story tells us.

He knew he was ill in 1986 - Mary Austin confirmed that he knew Knebworth was to be his last show.
