Think of a movie - any movie. Now substitute the main characters with our Queen guys.

For instance:
Any James Bond movie.
Freddie - definitely Mr. Bond.
Brian - M (the brainy boss)
John - Q (the geeky gadget guy)
Roger - the sexy Bond girl!

Haha fun idea - sexy Bond girl Roger.

For me, I have to follow my tradition: Lord of the Rings movies

Freddie - Gollum (sorry Freddie but that makes me laugh)
Brian - Gimli (sorry again, but he's axe-wielder)
Roger - Legolas (both can pass as hot girls)
John - Sam (who can't sing for all his poetic soul :D )

It's Friday night 13th here and I get bored.

Lol.......no, Brian would be Frodo! (just look at the "Queen II" photos of him....) And besides, aint he kinda tall for a dwarf? :p
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

John Rhys-Davies, who plays Gimli, is tall too, no problem. So is Richard Armitage, who play Thorin, and almost all other dwarf actors.
But yes, Brian's hair is very Frodo-ish ;)

Rocky Horror Picture Show:

Freddie - Frank N. Furter
Roger - Rocky
Brian - Magenta
John - Riff Raff

^ But we'd need Spike and Anita Dobson in as Brad and Janet. Meat Loaf can stay as Eddie - he really suits the role!

But I think Mary Austin would make a better Janet.

^ brilliant!

Which reminds me - am I the only one who thinks that Frank N. Furter and Frances De La Tour were separated at birth?

I loathe RHPS.

I know this adds nothing to the discussion, just had to say it.

Overrated cheesy crap-turd donkey shit.

Definitely for people over 50. It must have been unique at some point, possibly entertaining for gut busting laughs for the uptight crowd that grew from the nuclear nihilism/straight jacketed 50's.

That would be the ONLY thing to explain it. Exorcising Doris Day.

It hasn't crossed your mind that, maybe, you just don't get it because it's a niche-thing and you're not in that niche? So you have to resort to the kind of it's-for-old-people crap that makes superficial teenyboppers so annoying?

You get bonus points for the concept of exorcising Doris Day, though. Don't waste your time on Judas Priest and Black Sabbath - if there aren't plenty of satanic messages in Doris Day's 'music', I give up.

I don't know if anyone here would even know what the heck I am talking about, but there's a series of books called The Darksword Trilogy, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman (who also wrote the more famous DragonLance trilogies)...

One of the main characters is named Simkin....I always imagined Freddie as him, if there ever were to be a movie version.

(from wikipedia :D)

"Simkin is one of Joram's companions, a powerful magus who seemingly has no morals or regard for human life. He is well known in all the royal courts in Thimhallan and often regales his friends with scandalous tales and gossip about the nobility. As many characters in the novels remark, Simkin has a game of his own to play, though he chooses to not reveal his true motivations to anyone, preferring to put people in various alarming situations in order to see how they react."

Not that I'm saying Freddie had no morals or regard for human life!! lol

Also I remember reading somewhere that the guy who played Zaphod Beeblebrox in the Hitchhiker's Guide movie modeled the character after Freddie :)
