Rocksmith - anyone tried this?

Hi,

Since there's a Rock Band-thread, I was wondering if anyone tried Rocksmith, and what you think of it? A videogame with real electric guitar.

There's an awful input latency which makes it quite un practical. I didn't like the User Interface either.

Too bad! The idea is so good...

The 2014 version for /360/XB1 is a lot better than the first one.

I havent tried the Queen tracks but I can play Slayer and Deep Purple without any issue on xbox, so I don't know what about the PS/PC versions.

I actually didn't know that there were Queen tracks there (I hoped of course), the choices were pretty good too:

Keep Yourself Alive
Killer Queen
Bohemian Rhapsody
Fat Bottomed Girls
Stone Cold Crazy

There's not latency, if it's set up properly. I use the 2014 PS3 version. I love playing it. The Queen pack is a lot of fun. :-)

There IS latency on the first one. I haven't tried the second one.

I've read a lot of reviews online (where else?) saying there's latency, so Erin: How do/did you set it up properly?
