Now seriously, have you heard the difference of Bo Rhap in vinyl against the digital versions (remasters)? The bass is more prominent than all the instruments (for example)!!
What's your opinion on the original mixes?

It all depends on how good your equipment is.
If you've got a decent player (good tone arm, cartridge etc), then the bass response will be superb, but if you've got a crappy one with a plastic arm, then it won't sound as good.
Some people say that vinyl allows for a more dynamic range, but that could be down to the loudness war we now suffer from.
The one sure thing about vinyl vs CD is that the stereo seperation on vinyl isn't as good as CD, as you have to keep the stylus from jumping out of the groove!

Mostly VTA, amp + speakers. Good cart + arm help as well indeed.
