A hundred pounds. I can already see the meeting.
Guy from project: "damn... how can we get 33.000 pounds...?"
Brian: "well... I'm sure Queen fans will pay whatever we ask for something which has got my name on it... so..."

I never understand this kind of "logic".
Being a multi millionaire doesn't mean you're an ATM.

It may not make him an ATM, but he could choose to invest in stuff - especially if he believes it to have artistic merit. If it's as good as he thinks it is, it will make a profit and so will he....
That said, he may have done them a soundtrack for free, so has already given up time and creativity to it.

The job of an artist is not about giving money to another artist. No matter how rich he is.
Brian has done a soundtrack for them (free or not), and recommended the movie to everybody, that's the best kind of investment he can come up with.
Having said that, I hope to hear some full fleshed guitar track in the movie^^

Why do you feel like Brian has an obligation to pony up, or that anyone who disagrees with you is somehow required to do the same?
