I'd say places like Germany and Denmark have done pretty damn well.

Yes, they have decent government and are economically stable: however, compare and contrast with governments such as that of Italy, and take into consideration the economic crash of the Italians, Irish, Spanish, Portuguese Greeks et al in recent years. Then look at the fact that the UK is now governed by a right-wing Party that over 70% of the population didn't vote for, is in massive debt and is now looking at major austerity whilst renewing Trident (as well as looking to exit Europe and scrapping Human Rights in place of a shoddy "British Bill" which pisses over the Good Friday agreement).
I'd say Europe is in a f*cking mess too, Bob.

"Europe" applied to it's entirety - ie ALL "Euro-zone" member states - you can't just select one or two and disregard the fucking mes around the rest of the single currency.
