Early days for me, 73-75. As in the Bo Rhap video (or Queen II sleeve). And with his Queen/Queen II/Larry Lurex youthful voice.
The mustached Freddie of the beginning of the 80s was the one who led Freddie to his early demise. I prefer the calm Freddie of the The Miracle/Innuendo period.
"He knew exactly what was going on. He knew that was his last performance, he could barely stand." Roger Taylor commenting on Freddie's last video appearance.
Jazz era is my favorite Freddie look.
It depends on the context, but often it's the Barcelona look.
Can't go wrong with Freddie's looks there, plus he's always smiling in the photos with Montserrat
It's usually the period between '86 and '90.
Looks? '77-'80
Vocals? '79-'80, '85 (Live Aid) '88
Stage Persona? '74-'77
Ca 77-78.
74/75- early eighties and live aid and the Magic tour look. I do like the 89 Miracle look as well, but the freddie that had the most influence was the 74 SHA tour Bo Rhap/ Queen 2 look. And of course the early to mid 80's. He always changed his look, which I like. Brian always looked the same. Sort of boring in my opinion.
80's! The moustache!
Early 80s to Live Aid, generally.
Jazz Era
Definitely his living era

1974 when I'm feeling frisky.
