The funny thing is that it's a completely different cut showing different camera angles.

Saludos. :)

Maybe Queen never releases all the shows they have, but if we put all the efforts and good will together, we can make a great Queen collection.
QueenZone isn't dead, it's just badly administrated. And no one will stop us - excepting Richard trying to pay the bills of the hosting. :P

Belated thanks for this lads. Another step closer to a decent Hyde Park, which has been my holy grail for about 30 years.. I remember seeing some screen shots a few years ago of a later QTV version someone had taped at one of the conventions. It looked really good & the qtv logo wasn't in capital letters. I don't remember there being a timecode either.. I wonder if thats the same source as Ghostwithasmiles copy.. And if it'll ever see the light of day. Anyway in the meantime, many thanks for this.

It's undoubtedly a quality upgrade, but some of the different angles are actually from different parts of the song/show. The clip of Roger at the beginning is not from the same part of the song, and at :10 and :30 it's actually the same footage for two different choruses. You can see Mercury's hand movements are different at :10. And the footage of the audience is just arbitrarily recycled from other parts of the show. Bizarre creative choices for edits there.
But I wouldn't be so quick to make a merge of two versions without carefully watching to see if the re-broadcast is actually using the right footage at all times (I spotted three problems in 30 seconds). If anything, I'd say only the angles that match the original broadcast are worth using for a merge.
I have this 45 minute version on VHS, but this copy looks like it's at least as good as mine. With the above thoughts in mind, there's still plenty to work with here. Looking forward to seeing this project come to fruition !

^ compare all your existing versions to this one. Methinks this is the benchmark, for both video and audio.
