This is getting beyond ridiculous. We need action NOW. If it's too much for YV to handle, for god's sake, just give someone else authority to deal with this. Surely deleting spam isn't a contentious issue?!

Who is actually looking after this forum these days? This is beyond lazy! Someone needs to do their job now, or give some of the respected posters in here OP status.

YV is in charge, but I don't think she comes around here much anymore, and I'm almost positive no powers are going to be delegated. I just don't think they, YV and Richard Orchard, care that much anymore.

It must be possible to get in touch with Richard through facebook or something. It doesn't take a lot of effort to delegate some admin rights to a regular and reliable poster in here?

The site has been Dead for a long long time.

YV still does care. She did remove Jeffabino's other accounts and all of his spam posts (I did send her a message a couple of times about it and it was resolved). And I think she will also remove these spam threads as soon as she notices them.

But I agree, the forum needs a general makeover.

I noticed her and all the threads are gone now. It's more efficient to write her instead of complaining here

Yes, YV has been doing some spam maintenance recently. But that's not the point. What is needed isn't manual mod work. It's a spam prevention system.

This site needs a Captcha for every message posted. If I'm given enough permission, I'm happy to implement one and be relinquished of all authority once that is done. It doesn't cost anything really.

This site is not dead, on the contrary, it seems people around the world are using less and less the all forums.
But this place still has a lot of activity compared to other forums. Is because is not just to talk, right?

But i agree itneeds a modern interface and a way to eliminate the span faster.
