He's definitely making money off having known and worked for Freddie, which I guess is, moralistically speaking, slightly shady. But I think that, apart from appearing in that awful documentary "Freddie's Loves" and saying in it that Freddie had a big appendage, he's generally always shown a lot of respect towards Freddie's memory.
And he is satisfying a 'want' - the need which fans have to get more info on Fred. So he's carrying out a legitmate service which has a market. He also seems to be a genuinely likeable guy. And his angle on most things is more neutral than say Mary's, or the one Jim had, since these had a different type of relationship with Freddie - a romantic one - which tends to skew the way you see a person.
I don't know what him not having a woman has to do with this though. We all know he's gay.
Because he denies it. I think we're in a time where he doesn't have to try so hard to hide it but he does. I just don't like the fact that he makes money from showing kitty slideshows and following Queen tribute bands around. There comes a time when u have to stand on your own instead of riding coat tails. He has yet to do that. Anywho- This question may have already been answered- why does the British Government keep his medical files so secret? After so many years they can be released in the United States. I would think there's information in them that would stop lots of speculation.
