I kinda agree with the TC. The Beatles are to me probably the greatest band in the world but I'd rather listen to Queen. On the other hand - all their best work was in the studio with George Martin.
What always amazes me is that everything the Beatles ever did - was done in 8 years. (shorter than the time it took Axl to put together Chinese Democracy).
Just an awesome output of creativity.
