This brazilian channel called "Multishow" wil broadcast Queen's rock in rio concert today and according to their website is the show from 11th of january.

Queen should have them....in Ratty's book he says he was asked to stay in Rio and wait for the tapes.

Well, I don't really think we'll have something new. Anyways, Globo owns Multishow. So, if ANYONE has that new footage, they're be the people. =P
(I don't have Multishow at home, I've cancelled all television stuff and use only Netflix. FUCKAAAA!!! But I guess they'll post it on their site. I hope so!)

Judging on the footage we saw from the 'Great pretender' DVD they have copies but these are quite grainy. So probably a copy from the mastertape done back in the '80. So what we see is a 2nd generation tape (mastertape globo>tape QP> great pretender DVD
A newly transferred 2015 digital copy would be very welcome, but must cost a lot of money to transfer etc.
