It was announced today that The Beatles "1" will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray in November. I think it's cool since a lot of these videos were seldom seen, and some of them are entirely new versions. Also, it's great to have them all gathered in one set. But with that and Queen's Odeon release, I'm going to be ruined by the end of the year... *sigh*

I'm not a huge Beatles fan, but I'm seriously thinking about getting this. Why won't Queen release something like that?

You and me both. I've been hoping for The Beatles to release a DVD/BD of their music videos since '09 when they started remastering their albums. It could have been a good addition to the box sets. Nevertheless, I can't to get my hands on 1+

It's gonna be beautiful. Can't wait.
One can hope that the people in charge of Queen releases will see this, with its HD restorations and uncropped 4:3, and be inspired to take a similar path with the Queen videos.
