So, yesterday (yep) I decided to come to Porto Alegre and to watch this (which probably is the last Queen gig ever, in Brazil). Paid 4x the price to get airplane tickets, the show ticket and etc. Nice.
But there was only half of the show this night!
They skipped Stone Cold Crazy, didn't do 39', neither Kind of Magic, or Save Me AND Show Must Go on was also skipped.
What did happened? The guys had plane tickets and had to finish the show 1h earlier? Lol! Weird!
But it was a nice show! Cried like a baby on Love of my Life and with These Are the Days

Yeah, I noticed they didnt played many songs, but in exchange, they played TYMD. I couldnt listen to the stream but saw the setlist and there was a "no intro" to FBG, it means that the 15 seconds guitar intro was cut?
There's something that I dont like about his tour, with the exception of the first show, the band sounds kind of bored. The show in Rio had Radio Gaga cut, some songs cut and with the excepcion of Ghost Town, they havent played anything new and the previous "new songs" in the set (IWBTLY and LK) were completely ignored
Could it be that we are in the last legs of the Q+AL collaboration? Could it be that Brian's head is in the upcoming wour with Kerry Ellis?

It could be Brian is experiencing some difficulties with his hand, he seemed stiff in Rio and missed several notes in solos, or it could be that they were forced to cut the set due to timing issues at the site or legal problems playing past a certain time. I suspect in time Brian will comment on his site, hopefully it's nothing serious but I suspect he is having difficulties

I don't know. He is having difficulties and removed 39, which is a very nice song to play, without solos and stuff? Same to Save Me. It is much "harder" to play I Want it All, or even Tie Your Mother Down, and they played them both last night! Weird. Haha

The set list shorten was due to this being the first time Queen had support on stage and there was numorous issue with the venues Security and health and safety, there was even a chance that the show was to be cancelled.

Sounds pretty likely to me, hopefully we will see the return of a full set and Brian playing on top form as they round off the tour

The show of Queen, accompanied by singer Adam Lambert, scheduled for the evening of Monday, 21, in Porto Alegre is in danger of being cancelled.
