Same problem here too with different browsers.

My advice for those using Chrome or Firefox to download from Mega is to just install JDownloader and use it instead.
There are lot´s of people on the internet complaining about this issue, and myself i had to stop using browsers with Mega because it would crash my internet, and it was very frustrating to download 99% of a DVD and then have it stop, only to start everything again.
JDownloader works very well with Mega, and in some cases i can download a DVDwithin 10 - 20 minutes.
