Why are they receiving gold disc on a train?
Lol @ Fred... Anyone wants a gold disc come up and get one ....

Leiden is a 45 min trainride from amsterdam.

De kameel ( the train used) is the vip train from the directors of the dutch railways.

I guess the event saved them time and they spent the traveltime usefull back to the hotel or airport.

Thanks ! I can't even remember how I stumbled across this ....as you can see I am new here and totally screwed up the post! I just found it odd for them to recieve this on a train ride .l.but I'm in the US and quite an oddity myself I am sure ....gotta love Fred and his one liners !
Not sure if there is a way to fix it so if anyone can clean it up for me thank you in advance...iPad is very unforgiving when posting sometimes . I need practice at posting here, but always afraid to do exactly as I did here....Screw up !

This is great footage, thanks for bringing it to my attention. The picture is fantastic - crystal clean and it seems it´s shot on film. Perfect for a Blu-Ray extra.
As for your question - i don´t have a clue why they´re receiving the gold disc on a train - maybe part of a TV program in Holland? I´m sure others here will know the story behind this.

Maybe if you add "Leiden 1982 Golden Record" to the tittle of this topic, you´ll attract the right people.
