The 9 and QUEEN kick in at the same time on both clips anyway?

Not necessarily. You can use small bits and pieces to mask out watermarks or logos.
Chief Mouse has done something like this on Michael Jackson videos (albeit, those weren't 1½ hour long concert videos).
See my post above yours.
If Antiden's version (not talking only about the snippet, maybe it happens in other parts of the video) or other versions shows the 9 and QUEEN logos in different times, we could make a mix with all the versions: Rare Live clips, Kurgan copy snippets, REC (TV program) stream, and Antiden version.
I see where you're coming from, but I think you will find that antiden's copy is in fact from the same (original) source as the one at TTD.
The only difference probably being is that it's an inferior copy (back in the day of trading actual tapes this was the drawback).
Both versions probably come from the same full canal 9 broadcast shown on QTV.
Therefore the on screen 9 and QUEEN should appear in exactly the same places.

In my opinion, if Antiden's copy gets shared and if "someone" puts his hands on it, it will be a great share.
In my opinion, if Kurgan shares his version, THAT would be great! )
Indeed.
I just tried what can I do with this and here's what I did:

Or here's lossless version. YouTube compressed it.
I think you're misusing the word "lossless" Bob Harley ;)
Possible, sorry about this. I wanted to say that YouTube compressed the thing I uploaded in second post, so I uploaded raw file. It's file which wasn't compressed by YouTube. BTW it's interesting to watch non-QTV version, thanks for uploading.

Where is this non QTV version you mention?
Avi isn't lossless. But thanks for that sample! :D
Lagarith compression for AVI is indeed lossless. You can use it to preserve the footage.
I'm not saying that this was processed with Lagarith, but you could use it.
